A Students will work through the Simply Accounting 2010 text and complete lessons one through six. Marks will be assigned based on deviation from key balances (general ledger balances, income statement totals, balance sheet totals). Students will submit a printout of the general ledger balances at the end of each lesson.

B) Questions 1,3,5,7,9 at the end of each lesson are also assigned. 

These assignments can be submitted as email to my email address (dcrofton@sd62.bc.ca) or through my website's contact form www.dermottcrofton.com or printed out and handed in to the WestShore Centre (make sure to put your name and student number as well as your instructor's name (Dermott Crofton) on the first page of anything handed in.

These lessons are based on the Simply Accounting 2010 textbook (CCI’s courseware for Sage Simply Accounting 2010, Level One).

The topics include the following: Inventory, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Reporting and Period End Procedures.
